About the event

CEPP - Webinar: Emergency Management and Cybersecurity - A Practical Discussion Governments tend to create silos between departments, and in many jurisdictions one of the most significant gaps is the one between cybersecurity/IT teams and emergency management teams. As local jurisdictions face more emergencies that reflect some level of physical- and cyber-insecurity, we must begin to undo the gap between these critical teams. The purpose of this webinar is to explore best practices for building relationships between emergency management and cyber/IT to ensure a stronger emergency response future for all jurisdictions. The National Cybersecurity Center and Colorado Emergency Preparedness Partnership are pleased to jointly host this event with Arapahoe County's Amber Winthers (Cybersecurity Program Manager) and Nathan Fogg (Director, Office of Emergency Management).  Speakers:  Amber Winthers, Cybersecurity Program Manager, Arapahoe County Nathan Fogg, Director, OEM, Arapahoe County
